Chyulu Hills, Kenya

The Chyulu Hills, in the south west of Kenya are home to the Massai people, local farmers and iconic wildlife.

Conservation International safeguards the Chyulu Hills. Supporting employment of forest and game rangers and providing Maasai people and local communities with improved social services in health, education and employment.

Cispata, Colombia

Mangroves are a key part of our ecosystem, and shockingly 35% of the world's mangroves have been lost since 1980.

Conservation International leads the world’s first ‘blue carbon’ mangrove conservation project in Cispatá to address these threats and provide financial security to the community, improve fishing practices, and develop a sustainable ecotourism program.

Amazon, Brazil

The Amazon rainforest is home to the richest biodiversity of any ecosystem on the planet.

Conservation International and their partners are restoring 73 million trees (around 74,000 acres) in the Brazillian Amazon rainforest as part of the world's largest tropical restoration.

Alto Mayo, Peru

The Alto Mayo protected forest is located in the San Martin region of Peru.

Spanning 450,000 acres it is an area twice the size of New York City!

The tropical forest is home to a diverse range of amazing plant and animals including the yellow-tailed woolly monkey, Peru's biggest primate.
